Global Social Entrepreneurship
Berkeley
UC Berkeley
The Global Social Entrepreneurship Academy is an immersive, hands-on summer program for high school students at UC Berkeley. Participants learn how social impact ventures are created, financed, and scaled, working in teams to design solutions for problems in developing countries. The program includes workshops, interactive activities, guest speakers, and Berkeley undergraduate mentors, culminating in a Demo Day pitch event. Taught by Dr. Crystal Chang, the course covers innovation, venture capital, startup strategy, and social impact.
