Third Coast Foundry
Mayor Daniel Lurie launched Third Coast Foundry, a new innovation hub for student entrepreneurs from eight Midwestern universities, in San Francisco's South Beach neighborhood. The hub will host startup pitches, investor meetings, and networking events. The launch event featured remarks from university leaders and the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship. Since its soft launch in March, the hub has welcomed over 1,000 visitors.
