The scene right now

Dubai has 21 upcoming startup gatherings on the schedule, entirely composed of in-person activity with zero online events. The ecosystem leans heavily toward large-scale programming, featuring 10 conferences and six summits. Founders will also find three pitch nights alongside a meetup and one general event. Out of the 21 gatherings taking place across the city, only two are designated as free, making the majority of the schedule ticketed or closed-door engagements.

Recurring series

The recurring schedule is dominated by one-off fixtures rather than an extensive roster of repeating community series. The sole recurring series featured on the calendar is Expand North Star, which accounts for two editions and has its next gathering scheduled for December 8, 2026. Founders looking for regular programs should track this anchor date, as the remaining gatherings are organized as standalone conferences, summits, and pitch sessions throughout the year.

Who runs the events

Dubai International Financial Centre, or DIFC, leads the city in organizing activity with three upcoming events, in addition to an event tied to DIFC under a separate listing. Tablon Partners represents angel groups with one scheduled event. Communities are also active, with Nomad Global Hub and the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy hosting one gathering each. Other entities organizing standalone events across the calendar include AI Builders, Step Dubai, and Kaoun International.

Busiest months

Activity centers around the autumn and winter seasons, with November 2026 serving as the busiest month on the calendar with 11 scheduled gatherings. October 2026 hosts four events, while December 2026 maintains steady momentum with five gatherings. Founder engagement tapers significantly into early 2027, with only a single gathering currently scheduled for February 2027, making late 2026 the primary window for attending gatherings across the city.
