Questions founders ask
Where do the defaults come from?
Round sizes come from Form D filings with the SEC, mapped to sector and metro. We show the number of filings and the month we last refreshed, and hide any benchmark older than 90 days.
Is this legal or financial advice?
No. The calculators show the arithmetic and link to the official definitions (for example the YC post-money SAFE). Talk to a lawyer before you sign anything.
Do you store my numbers?
No. The calculators run in your browser. Numbers are only saved if you sign in and choose to keep a scenario.
