The scene right now

Madrid currently has 10 startup events on the horizon, all hosted entirely in person across the metropolitan area with zero online sessions. Founders can expect a strong tilt toward major summits, which make up five of the scheduled dates. The rest of the scene is composed of three pitch nights, one demo day, and a single conference. Free attendance is available for three of these gatherings, while the remaining sessions require registration or tickets.

Recurring series

The community does not currently run standard repeating monthly series. Instead, founders will encounter recurring annual and cohort-based milestones. The XIV Foro de Inversión organized through Madrid Emprende is holding sessions on December 1, 2026. Another repeating initiative is Start IN Up, which features the Investor and Demo Day for its seventh edition on November 12, 2026. The rest of the calendar consists of stand-alone summits and conferences.

Who runs the events

Municipal entities lead the schedule, with Ayuntamiento de Madrid staging two upcoming events. Other distinct organizations steering the calendar with one major event each include Madrid Emprende, MERGE, and South Summit. These groups focus primarily on investor connectivity, startup showcases, and industry summits, ensuring that municipal initiatives and established startup brands anchor the local tech ecosystem through targeted pitch sessions and broad regional gatherings.

Busiest months

Activity peaks toward the end of the year, with December 2026 leading the count at three scheduled events. Both October 2026 and November 2026 follow closely with two gatherings each, creating a steady autumn run. Early 2027 tapers down, featuring a single event in January for Science for Industry, another solitary launch summit in February, and South Summit rounding out the calendar with one major fixture in June.
