Founder brief

Who should attend

Founders operating within the climate and energy sectors will find direct relevance here, particularly those developing carbon tech solutions. Early-stage teams looking to connect with peers and ecosystem leaders in Houston can evaluate the initiative's scope.

What happens

Participants gather at the Greentown Labs facility for an evening kickoff meetup beginning at 17:30. The meetup spans across December 3 and December 4, focusing on launching the sixth year of the program without formal startup pitch opportunities scheduled.

Who's in the room

Attendees will encounter climate-tech founders, energy entrepreneurs, and representatives from the Greentown Labs accelerator community. It brings together local Houston professionals interested in carbon management, energy transition, and cross-sector innovation.

How to prepare

Plan your route ahead of time, entering the one-way San Jacinto Street parking lot early to secure first-come parking, or take the METRORail Red Line to Wheeler station. Prepare a clear, conversational description of your climate venture to share during informal networking.
