Founder brief

Who should attend

Early-stage founders, startup operators, and local business builders seeking informal connections across the San Diego innovation community will appreciate the low-pressure environment. The agnostic sector focus makes it relevant whether you build software, physical products, or niche services.

What happens

Starting at 17:00, attendees gather by the beach to converse over drinks. Without formal presentations, structured panels, or pitch sessions, the entire schedule centers on casual, open-ended conversations between peers looking to build their regional networks.

Who's in the room

Organizer Brandon Fortino convenes a crowd drawn from across the local San Diego tech and entrepreneurial scene. You will encounter fellow startup founders, independent business creators, and community members working across diverse industries.

How to prepare

Bring business cards or a quick digital way to swap contact details with peers. Since you will not be making a formal stage pitch, polish a clean, conversational description of your venture to share naturally in one-on-one dialogues.
