About

TorontoStarts operates as a startup accelerator rooted in Toronto. The organization focuses on cultivating the local entrepreneurial ecosystem through community-driven programming. Since launching events in 2026, the accelerator has anchored its efforts entirely within the city, establishing a consistent local presence to connect and support emerging innovators across the region.

What they run

The organization's programming centers on gatherings within Toronto, spanning four total events split evenly between past and upcoming sessions. Most of their calendar features meetups, supplemented by an occasional mixer. Their current series includes the AI Builder Cafe, with upcoming sessions such as Finish 2026 Strong in November 2026 and Ship Before The Year Ends scheduled for December 2026.

Who attends

Events draw Toronto founders, developers, and technical creators specifically focused on building artificial intelligence products. The mix of casual mixers and targeted meetup sessions attracts early-stage entrepreneurs who want to collaborate, share progress on their projects, and meet fellow local builders aiming to ship products before year-end milestones.
