About the host Founders Night is organised by the Startup Founders Association, a community of experienced founders from Poland. We have been organizing this event since 2018, you can check the footage here from 2023, 2024 and 2025.

Who should attend

Startup founders who want to test their verbal pitch in front of an audience right as Web Summit kicks off will benefit most. It is particularly suitable for entrepreneurs seeking real-time critique from peers and active investors before stepping into conference meetings.

What happens

Arrivals begin at 6:00 PM, leading into the pitch training session from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Selected participants take the stage for three minutes without slides to receive direct jury evaluations. From 8:30 PM until 2:00 AM, the rooftop hosts an extended networking session with a DJ set, snacks, and drinks.

More than 300 entrepreneurs, innovators, and investors gather on the rooftop, organized by the Startup Founders Association. The crowd comprises international visitors attending the broader tech conference alongside local and European founders looking to build early partnerships.

How to prepare

Apply to pitch during registration and await confirmation by 27 October. Because slides are prohibited, practice delivering a clear, concise three-minute narrative entirely from memory. Focus on articulating your problem, market traction, and core business model so the jury can offer actionable feedback during the live session.
